Some People
There are a few different kinds of people in this world. Some who love to watch the bees and some who could live inside the sound of the waves. There are those who breathe a good song and those who love to push.
There are the people who’s compliments come tumbling out in sudden and unexpected ways. They come out all jumbled and so full of sincerity. It’s as if they were too excited to say their kind words that the words come out and don’t have to make sense. These are the same people who love to watch the bumblebees bumble their way through life. They get distracted by butterflies and want to look at all the plants they haven’t seen before.
The people who could live inside the sound of the waves love to go to yard sales. They love to be with people to a point that is hard to comprehend. They have a thing for puzzle pieces and enjoy pretzels like it’s nobody’s business. Their heart is always for people and is always a welcoming place to rest at the end of a long day. Their cooking is like no other and they are not afraid to tell you where to go and how to get there.
Some people live and breath song. If you’ve missed these peoples new favourite song you weren’t paying them much attention. They are no stranger to conflict but simply wish you to love them as much as they love you. They walk to the beat of the song in their head and heart quite literally, but not in a goofy way. They love to have fun and they love to see new sights and they love to be in the newness of life.
Those who like to push are a particular sort. Their pushing is done in love and in fun. Whether it’s a joke or to a betterment of self, they love to push. They appear as a mountain but are really a bubbling brook. Tender and caring yet strong and hard when a storm is upon them. They thrive on intensity and are self assured. They are so easily identified as passionate and make no motion to hide it, or themselves.
These are all very different people and yet they all have the same thing in common. They love and they love deeply. They are all distinctly unique and not without challenges. But they love and they love and they love. They all love in a different flavour but oh how they love.
Hello Savana-Raine, I am so glad to have found your page. It was not easy because I am still technologocally challenged although always improving and finding new ways to appreciate being able to stay in touch, in one way or another, using the cyber highways. I am going to enjoy working my way through your blog to catch up with your entries. No coincidances (<-sp?) in life. I was meant to be at that dance presentation. While observing people decades ago in an ICU family waiting room I casually decided they fell into three groups: cocooners, pilers, and spreaders. I am a spreader. Distinct personalities seem to associate with each type, but depending on circumstances I think the groups could be fluid. <3 Geralyn MacMillan
